As the head creative director and catalyst behind Bando's creation, I meticulously crafted its brand identity in 2018, laying the foundation for the weekly club night at Butterfly 73. Immersed in the dynamic culture of hip-hop, I curated every facet, from inception to execution, with the purpose of fostering a vibrant community within Perth's hip-hop scene.
Drawing inspiration from the burgeoning internet rap and new wave hip-hop movements, I harnessed a moment of raw energy captured during the 2016 Listen Out festival, featuring Travis Scott, to ignite our launch. In my dual role as creative art director and graphic designer, I conceptualised and meticulously crafted each element, ensuring a consistent expression of the genre's passion and vibrancy across all materials. Moreover, I provided expert guidance in the assistant direction of video promotions, seamlessly integrating visuals to envelop our audience in the immersive Bando experience.
